It is common to manage one's bank account online. Making credit card payments online is also not unknown. However, today witnessed the start of a new online financial service. Payment Innovations, LCC, a company that develop systems for managing money and making payments online, proclaimed the beginning of a new kind of site called BillCharger.com.

This new site allows credit card users to pay any bill online with their credit cards-not just credit card bills. Even if the company issuing the bill does not ordinarily accept credit card payments, a BillCharger.com user can still pay with his or her credit card through the site.

This site arrives in time to service an economy in the midst of crisis. More individuals are lacking in immediate funds than ever before. BillCharger co-founder Andrew Fisher claims that the site will help impoverished customers pay those necessary bills-bills that one previously couldn't use a credit card to pay.

"Many consumers are finding themselves in situations where a bill that usually requires them to write a check is coming due and they don't have... cash available," stated Fisher during an interview earlier today.

Examples of these vital payments that consumers have to make include rent payments, mortgage payments, car payments, doctors' payments, phone bills, and even school tuition. Paying these on time, even with credits cards' high interest rates, still helps consumers save money, according to Fisher.

"Consumers... pay their bills on time, thus avoiding late fees," Fisher explains.

The site feature total security for when users enter their credit card information. It stores payee information to help quickly pay bills from the same source over time. An added convenience is the site's ability to store a full history of their bill payments without any papers for user to have to physically store.
