Every other Tuesday we're reviewing another name in the Twittersphere. We'll tell you a little bit about them, what kind of money advice you can expect to receive via Twitter and why you should (or shouldn't) follow them. This week we're taking a look at @JonChevreau. Here are the stats for @JonChevreau:

In order to get more than 30 thousand Twitter followers, Jon Chevreau must be doing something right. The financial columnist and author of the popular book Findependence Day certainly gets a lot of exposure which may help boost his Twitter following. But follow him and you'll immediately have increased access to some of the most interesting and relevant financial news. Although his Twitter stream isn't purely about money-- sometimes you'll come across a link to a human interest story about something amazing someone in the world is doing.
It shows that in addition to being passionate about finances, Chevreau has a soft spot for a good story. And that's probably what motivated him to write Findependence Day, a story about a young debt-ridden couple's journey to financial independence. The book chronicles the couples real estate fumbles and stock market mistakes. It's a timely tale of a financial journey that many people are embarking on these days.
On the other hand, don't expect a lot of interaction from Chevreau. He's a busy man after all. But he still makes a good addition to your Twitter pool.
