If you have heard of or been using the U.S. Bank's WorldPerks Visa Card, then you might be interested in the fact the card has gotten an upgrade. The WorldPerks card, used by U.S. Bank customers to earn miles with Northwest Airlines is being replaced with the FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Card.
Starting next month in May, those U.S. Bank customers with WorldPerks cards will be issued FlexPerks cards. Card issuer has endeavored to make this transition as smooth as possible by keeping the card numbers the same so WorldPerks cardholders will not have to fill out new applications. Also, if there are automatic bill payments made using the WorldPerks card, they should carry on without interrupt when transferred to the FlexPerks card.
With these new FlexPerks Travel Rewards cards, you will be able to earn FlexPoints as you make transactions with the card. If you use your credit card to make purchases as the grocery store, airline tickets, or gas, you may be eligible for double FlexPoints-depending on which one you've spent the most on each month. Also, you get double FlexPoints when you pay for cell phone charges.
As a FlexPerks cardholder, you will be able to redeem as few as 20,000 FlexPoints for airline tickets with well over a 150 airlines, including participators Northwest and Delta. The awarded ticket also allows cardholders to take a credit allowance of $20 to pay fees like those for in-flight food and beverages as well as those for baggage.
There are still more advantages for FlexPerks cardholders. For instance, they can redeem their points for gift cards, statement credits, travel certificates, even merchandise. With the future upgrade of debit services, cardholders will be able to use both credit and debit purchases to receive FlexPoints.
The FlexPerks Visa is being described as one of the best travel rewards cards currently on the market.
